1. Cancellation Rights

Clients have the right to cancel tutoring sessions in accordance with the terms outlined in this policy. We understand that schedules change and strive to be flexible with our cancellation terms.

2. Cancellation Timeline

48 Hours or More Notice

If you cancel a scheduled tutoring session with 48 hours or more notice before the appointment time, you will receive a full refund of the session fee or credit toward future sessions.

24-48 Hours Notice

If you cancel with between 24 and 48 hours notice, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. The remaining balance may be credited toward future sessions.

Less Than 24 Hours Notice

If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or fail to show up for a scheduled session, the full session fee will be charged. No refund will be issued.

3. Rescheduling

Sessions cancelled with 48 hours or more notice can be rescheduled at no additional cost based on tutor and client availability. Sessions cancelled with less notice may be rescheduled but may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

4. Tutor Cancellations

If GetYourTutors must cancel a session due to tutor unavailability, a full refund will be issued or the session will be rescheduled at the client's convenience at no charge.

5. Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the same method by which payment was made. Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Package Cancellations

For clients who have purchased tutoring packages:

• Cancellations of the entire package within 7 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund.
• After 7 days, used sessions are non-refundable, but unused sessions retain their value and can be rescheduled.
• Unused sessions in a package expire 12 months from the date of purchase.

7. No-Show Policy

Clients who do not appear for scheduled sessions without cancellation are considered a "no-show." The full session fee will be charged. Excessive no-shows may result in the suspension of services.

8. Special Circumstances

In cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, clients should contact GetYourTutors as soon as possible to discuss options. We will consider requests for exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.

9. Payment Disputes

Any disputes regarding charges or refunds should be reported to GetYourTutors within 30 days of the transaction. We will investigate and respond within 14 business days.

11. Policy Changes

GetYourTutors reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last updated" date. For existing clients, policy changes may take effect after 30 days notice.
